In order to learn as much as we can, we have to redefine our personal developments and goals connected with the project. We have to define them more precisely and make them more specific and useful. Just keep them simple and clearly connected to special activities that will contribute to our development.
:::
We already discussed function and responsibilities of individual members and decided the following:
Visual design and production:
Virginia and Emily
Content design:
Nieke
Project manager
Pavlina
User experience
We will do this part together, right after development of concept, because it is important that each member of the group contributes their own views and suggestions on user experience.
Next, we will meet on Friday, 17th of February, at 13:00 in 2S210, and continue with our working on the project. Until Friday each member has to carry out some assignments.
1. Game location
We decided to consider four interesting Dutch cities and each member will have to do a research on this particular city and report it to the group on Friday. Afterwards we will decide which city is the most appropriate one, considering stories, legends, location, visitors, accessibility, historic value etc.
1. Gouda - Pavlina
2. Haarlem - Emily
3. Utrecht - Virginia
4. Keukenhof - Nieke
2. Personal developments
Our redefined personal developments and goals should be uploaded on the blog.
3. Research
The researches that have been done so far (tourists, language and target group) and researches connected to the particular city (Gauda, Haarlem, Utrecht, Keukenhof) should be uploaded on the blog.
4. Communication plan
As project manager I will keep the record of all of the documents and provide some examples and tasks connected with communication/marketing plan.
5. Style guide
Emily will develop a style guide (colors, layouts, logo), that will be our core visual identity throughout the project.
:::
On Friday we are planning to:
+ pick the most appropriate and interesting city that fits into 'Lost in time' context
+ make SWOT analysis and confrontation matrix
+ work on development of 4P (price, promotion, place, product) + 3P
(processing, people, physical evidence (this is important because this is not only a product, but service as well)) + brainstorm about the concept
+ brainstorm about ways to improve 'Lost in time' application
+ develop a concept draft
